The Scriptures are like a mirror. If we want to check it everything is okay with us, all we have to do is look at ourselves through God’s Word. If there is anything wrong with us, it will certainly show. In the Bible we find counsel and guidance from the Lord for every circumstance of our lives.
As children of God, instead of trying to gather different opinions and advices here and there, we must go directly to him.
A mirror can show it our life is out of alignment, if our collar is turned inside out or if we have a stain on our check, helping us to present a better appearance to people. The same happens spiritually. Placing ourselves before the Scriptures allows us to detect where our flaws arc, and notice, ahead of other people, everything in our character which is incompatible with what we think we are.
May the Holy Spirit desire to use this message as a mirror, so that you, my dear reader, can see yourself for who you really are and adjust whatever may be distorting your image.
